Formentera is a pretty Mediterranean island in the Balearic archipelago, off the Spanish coast. It is one of the popular Pitiusas islands, as is Ibiza and several others.
The sea is visible from just about anywhere on the island, and you are never far from a lovely beach with fine white sand and lots of stunning coves and inlets, some of which have incredible underwater grottos.
Formentera is a haven of peace and quiet, surrounded by a brilliantly conserved natural environment.
Among the islands most popular sights and attractions we recommend: La Sabina, Formentera’s only port, and a place that has all the charm typical of the island; Las Salinas, a nature reserve whose scenery and ecological, plant and animal richness will amaze you. In the centre of the island you will find the settlement of San Francisco Javier, a lovely neighbourhood of white houses that has one of the nicest beaches in Formentera, Cala Sabina. For breathtaking views of the island go up to the lookout point at La Mola.

Das Hostel mit familiärer Umgebung ist das ganze Jahr geöffnet. Das im Jahr 2004 renovierte Hostel der Mittelklasse verfügt auf 2 Etagen über insgesamt 50 Zimmer, davon ein behindertengerechtes Zimmer. Es bietet den Gästen eine Empfangshalle mit Rezeption und Aufzug. Des Weiteren befinden sich im klimatisierten Gästehaus eine Cafeteria-Bar (den gesamten Tag offen), ein Restaurant (mittags und abends geöffnet) mit Raucherbereich sowie Hochstühlen für die Kinder und ein Speiseraum. Ein Fahrradkeller ist vorhanden.
